(b. 1990, Ninety Six, SC) a self-taught abstract artist living and working in Charlotte, NC. Being a father, photographer, and digital creator has molded him into a visual artist who creates without boundaries. Teaching himself the craft through books, research, and countless trials and errors Rashad has developed an experimental and transparent approach to his work. At his current stage, he uses various mediums to consistently present questions of growth, community, and perseverance from an unconventional perspective. Rashad intends for his work to reflect evolution, with each piece shifting and adapting in order to grow—mirroring the way he has throughout his own life.
